and searchers
regularly come from close regions or bordering countries to work in the
Library or in the museums. According to our availabilities,
we
can put them up in the farm – thus facilitating their
research.
According to our possibilities, the rooms can be put at tourists' disposal. In the private part of the Ferme castrale, in the middle of the village of Hermalle-sous-Huy, near the castle and its moat, a charming site :
Two rooms are at your disposal. The bathroom is shared between the family and the travellers. On waking, coffee, tea, chocolate or a real breakfast can be served in the room or in the family dining room. Advantages :
- halfway between Huy and Liège, good region for tourism, leasures and culture; 3 min. away from a fishery, 15 min. away from the Mont Mosan amusement park, - motorway N 90 exit Pont de Hermalle + first street on the right while going up to the village - on foot: Long Distance Path 576 - by bus: Number 9 bus TEC service Liège-Huy, stop Place de Hermalle, 300 m. from the Ferme castrale - no parking problem - calm in the middle of a village with bakery, grocer's shop, pharmacy, garages, hairdressers... (The shopping centres of Engis and Amay are 4 km away.) - architectural interest of the building - possibility for dinner - On Saturday or Sunday, catholic mass in the adjacent church.
