In the surrounding area of the Ferme castrale of Hermalle-sous-Huy

The village of Hermalle-sous-Huy stretchs along the Meuse that forms the limit between Hesbaye and the beginning of the Ardennes.
Its a charming region with farms and castles, churchs and abbeys, museums and attractions, pastures and woods, restaurants and country products. You will find informations at the Maison du Tourisme.

A Maison de Tourisme [House of Tourism] ?

Wallonia has 42 tourist regions; in each of them, a House of Tourism is at your disposal to offer you in minimum 2 languages all documentation necessary for a pleasant stay. The Maison du Tourisme centralizes the information of the tourist offices and local associations; that allows you, when you arrive in its area, to discover more easily the charms and potentialities of the region. It covers a tourist entity which does not correspond inevitably to a pure administrative zone. It reflects the image, the particular identity of a region.

Since March 2004, the entity of Engis, and thus its village Hermalle-under-Huy, concerns the Maison du Tourisme Hesbaye-Meuse, which covers in fact the communal entities of Amay, Donceel, Engis, Faimes, Saint-Georges-sur-Meuse, Verlaine and Villers-le-Bouillet ; it concerns also the old villages of Aineffe, Amay, Ampsin, Bodegnée, Borlez, Celles, Chapon-Seraing, Clermont /s Huy, Donceel, Ehein, Engis, Faimes, Fize-Fontaine, Flône, Haneffe, Hermalle /s Huy, Jehay, Jeneffe, Les Waleffes, Limont, Ombret, Saives, Seraing-le-Château, St-Georges s/ Meuse, Vaux et Borset, Verlaine, Viemme, Vieux Waleffe, Villers-le-Bouillet, Warnant-Dreye.

The Maison du Tourisme Hesbaye-Meuse

presents to you the history of our area, the habits of our inhabitants determined by the characteristics of the landscape.
It is located at Jehay (entity of Amay) in the Abbaye de la Paix-Dieu [Abbey of Peace-God].
